    question regarding the belts.

    If you win one, do you get to keep it?

    The reason I'm asking is that in Raging Bull, you see Jake LaMotta getting some diamonds out of his and trying to sell that, and the buyer said it would have been better if he sold the belt instead, cos those things never go on sale.

    Anyway, then recently, David Haye said that he couldn't get his just yet because it was getting modified to fit him since obviously Valuev, who had it before made it fit him. So, does that mean Valuev doesn't have one to keep then?

    What's the rules regarding 'winning' a belt?
