I think fighter of the year right now is Floyd Mayweather Jr. I think I agree with the rest of your list.
IMO, both were exciting fights, but neither was really that competitive, much like Katsidis-Earl. That's why I pick fights like Marquez-Barrera and Vasquez-Marquez over them as far as FOTY goes, even though Cotto-Judah was my second personal favorite this year.

to me...u forgot to read...TO ME.... not you..me.. to me pav miranda turned one sided after 3 rounds...cotto judah also had the drama, styles difference, the fact that cotto would wobble when judah tagged him flush, the cuts, the manner in wich judah just crumbled mentally.. it was all there...dont get me wrong....pavlik miranda was great...but imo cotto judah had more drama and a very satisfying ending....we all knew that pavlik was gonna destroy miranda...it wasnt surprizing...but i wouldnt have guessed that cotto was gonna war like he did and knock judah out in the 11th....i was one of those who thought that judah was gonna knock out cotto...so thats why...

Worst Boxing Network decision: HBO for showing all of the Floyd-Dela Hoya prefight stuff but not the fight on OnDemand and never showing the Pav-Miranda fight even though it was on the undercard of the unwatchable Taylor-Spinks Best Boxing Network decision: SHO for finally doing a tribute to Chico now if they could only put it on OnDemand Best Rookie Boxing Network: MSG network for showing Mormeck-Bell 2 and the German Giant Valuev getting whipped.
