I'd agree on Calzaghe best offense, in terms of sheer output, it would be insanly hard to think whilst being punched so much. Maywhether for defence ? Calzaghe should retire, then both should come back and fight. ahh at least Maywhether would lose his 0. catch weight of 170

Mid-late 70s Duran v late 80s Whitaker is the perfect dream match-up for offence v defence IMO. Right now it's hard to find a great example, probably Pacquiao v Guzman would be the best one. Calzaghe has nothing like the best offence in boxing - when was the last time he floored or stopped a top quality opponent??!
