The Russo fight proved to me his lack of ability over and over again. Falling short when you have an 8inch advantage is just..... He's a puncher. no shame in that.
What? Yeah, when Usyk lost to Russo the fight before Wilder lost to him, I thought the same thing (sarcasm). Clearly, Usyk has no ability at all, and Usyk had 300 fights under his belt to Wilder's 30. Christ. You win the worst post of the day.
Yes, he's a puncher now. And, at last count, he scored five stoppages in his amateur career. Yet somehow managed to win a national championship and an Olympic medal. How many points to amateur judges award for GENES? I missed that in the rules. Do they award points for straight teeth and a shiny coat, too? And are you going to tell me which amateur fights he won because of his height, or are you just going to talk about the time he lost to a really short guy (which doesn't prove your point at all)? That's what I thought.
So you believe, If wilder wasnt as long/tall as he is, he would be as good in the amateurs ? Size has a huge part in boxing, Fact. It wasn't the fact he lost to the short guy, he got taken apart even after having a 7+ inch height advantage and 5+ inches reach advantage. That isn't a small advantage, thats huge. If you are going to debate that Wilder has "good fundamental boxing skills", i will just ignore you. Clearly trolling.
