from this list carlos ortiz but he wont get many votes because he is from an old era, benitez had a lot more talent then tito but i vote tito second because benitez didnt reach that talent and wasted it by not dedicating himself. But the best of all time is wilfredo gomez who is not on the list.

    :hat

    Its between Trinidad and Benitez

Cotto is a Good fighter and has potential to be one of the Puerto Rican Greats

But he shouldent be mentioned in that list, not right now

I voted Miguel Cotto for trolling purposes but I think the answer is clearly Benitez. Im surprised that Tito is winning this.

As someone who used to live on "La Isla Del Encanto" (Mayaguez)....Tito's appeal and the love he received on the Island was MASSIVE!!!! Boricuas en PR Loved Tito!!!! In the States....Boricuas LOVE Cotto Big-Time, especially the 18-30 Demographic in places like NY, NJ, Philly, CT., Chicago (Humboldt Park), Florida and Ohio (Large Boricua Population in Cleveland). Puertorriqueños over the age of 50 (on the Island) will come to "Fist-a-cuffs" if someone said that Benitez, Tito and Cotto were better than Gomez....I KNOW, I have seen it and had to break-up a couple of these fights in PR because of this argument.

IMO...Gomez and Benitez are the TOP 2, HANDS DOWN!!! Followed by Tito then Cotto...IMO. But Tito's Popularity on the Island is ****ING CRAZY...EVEN NOW, But when he was active...He was Bigger than Elvis, Michael Jackson and the Beetles....COMBINED!!! IT WAS CRAZY!!!! As soon as Boricuas found out or knew that I worked in Broadcast Journalism, their immediate response/question was "¿Mira, usted conoce a Tito?"
