"Hatton possesses one of the best body punches in boxing, a heavyweight left hook which he digs to the body which, not incidentally, is the best punch with which to combat a southpaw". -bert sugar
People will tell you its the straight right but its the Jab . even if it isnt landing cleanly , its always the Jab !
it's got to be the jab, as long as you fire it hard through the southpaws lead right. but for the finish, got to be the left hook. throwing the right leaves you open for counters.
nah not the left hook surely, leaves you wide open for the jab everytime (although if Pac steps off to the right as much as he did vs DLH then it maybe a good shot). Left hook to the body maybe but i'd say prob step left and throw that left uppercut under his jab or if its a lazy jab throw the right hand over it.
Straight right, Hatton is gonna be using that alot. If anything thats the most Mayweather SR has done for Hatton, give him a straight right.
more often than not in this fight Hatton will employ a right hand counter through the oncoming jab and guard.. But every now and then later in the fight the most damaging shot will become that deep dug left hook or hook/uppercut to the body of pac, it will be the hurtful shot that may draw the curtains..
My keys. Hatton: Step to the left, Dig left hook to the body. Let's see that new straight right hand, followed by a clinch. (PBF style) Pacquiao: lead left hand, Hatton eat's anything left. (No Pawing **** this fight Pac) (Then unload the right hook's, Down & up.)
