If you could pick the best technical skills for each punch, and movement for boxing for a raw amateur to learn, who would you pick and why, and what fight was the best to showcase this?

    Combintions -

    Right hand-

    Left Jab-

    Left Hook-

    Left hook to body-

    Right hand to body-

    Head movemenet-

    Footwork.

    Hearns right hand was devastating.

    SRR combinations and left hook.

    Ken Buchanan jab.

Head movement HAS to go to Whitaker.

The most technically gifted fighter I've watched is McCallum.

Pernell incredible but is that teachable to an amateur boxer? Some of the movements are very unorthodox.

If you are very athletic, yes.

Pernell's technique was top notch but yes, his defense was unorthodox.

Ok then what would be the best skill or guy to watch for that skill that dosent require incredible athletic ability.

McCallum is a great fighter to study, extremely smart & technically proficient. He was taught by Steward & Futch & his fights are filled with old-school tricks.

Marquez is another one to watch & learn from, Hopkins as well.

I like the fighters who finish opponents off, make it conclusive, as much as i respect Hopkins...he dosent tend to finish guys off.
