Ward is the best it's pretty obvious why.

Ward IS the best but being inactive for so long raises questions. For that reason alone, I'm voting Froch.

I almost did the same but ultimately stuck with Ward.

If he were Active Ward would be the best but he hasnt fought in more than a year and could be side lined till 2016 and cause of that i will choose Froch who has the best record in the division(and that would be the case even if i were counting Ward)And is the best and more proven fighter ATM with Ward out of the picture.

Lol @ all the British people saying Froch. Ward smashed him with a broken hand for god's sake and has arguably the best resume in SMW history

It's clearly Ward. He's beaten 2 of the others on the list decisively and while he has been inactive that doesn't change the fact he would still beat everyone at super middle.

You can say he's no longer ranked number 1 due to inactivity but you can't say he isn't the best.

    Ward...

He won 9-10 rounds over Froch and Abraham.

Froch, Best fighter Ward hands down. but I voted Froch as he's the champ at 168 now, you can't retire and fight some bum in between and keep your ranking as the best.

I would have said Ward if he was still active (meaning fighting at least once in a year). But I doubt he will fight before november 17 of this year, so.. Definitely Froch.

Who is butthurt? Who is debating that Ward won?

Not me. But if you don't fight, you slip down the rankings through inactivity.

Isn't the well accepted rule "one year of inactivity," yeah?

While nothing will get scheduled and you will be correct in one months time, technically Ward has fought within the past one year.

Still Ward, hopefully he gets a fight scheduled soon. Otherwise, it'll go to Froch by default.
