Sorry but that's retarted, Diaz? Diaz - What the **** man - Surely you're just joking here My order is actually - Cotto, Khan, Hatton, but all 3 are close - Dont see how anyone can have such a big difference between the victories
Half-joking about Diaz (mainly because that was arguably a gift for Juan, whereas Ricky dominated his lesser version of Malignaggi) Hatton TKO11 Malignaggi = Pacquiao RTD6 De La Hoya, IMO Equally meaningless victories. It wasn't really Oscar in the ring that night in December '08, and it wasn't really Paulie that night a month earlier.
Pauli = wrong gameplan Oscar = Weight drained (even though he chose the weight) and shot 'RTD6' it was over after round 8
Fine, RTD8 then - I was going from memory. There was more to it than simply wrong game plan with Paulie. He had no self confidence and didn't trust his corner.
I was just joking with the correction, but I still don't think that the difference is that much, style wise hatton was at the worst position compared to cotto and khan
Yeah, I agree with that, IB. Paulie under McGirt wasn't happy at all. He looked his worst ever. But, it was still a decent win for Hatton, in my opinion. He coped with his man (all be it a lesser man) better than Cotto did. A lot of that will have had to do with Cotto's severe weight issues, but like I said in my other post, if you transferred Hatton to that fight against the younger Malignaggi, he still would have achieved the better win. Mainly because his physical state and approach to the opponent, was a lot better.
I'm quite surprised people are picking Hatton, he'd be the third pick for me. Either Khan or Cotto, probably Cotto since he fought him at his best and when he was undefeated, and Paulie put up a good fight.
Wouldn't that be a reason to not pick Cotto because hatton and khan dealt with paulie in a way that he wasn't even competetive I have hatton last aswell, Behind Cotto then Khan
Yeah, I just wanted to point it out. I still have Cotto higher than Khan due to fighting him when he was undefeated, younger, and at his best IMO, although Khan dealt with him in a better manner.
