Beterbiev and Bivol how long will they keep ducking each other?

Bivol wanted this fight for quite some time. So people claiming he is ducking anyone are cluesless.

Arum said he won't let Beterbiev fight Bivol and WBC don't allow Bivol to fight for WBC, so how is Bivol ducking him exactly???

 

Yeah Canelo was also going to KO Bivol, but he ended being schooled and with proper scoring he didn't win a round.
Beterviev is different beast no doubt about that, but Bivol is a true 50-50 fight.

 

There's the political aspect, but I think the bigger hurdle is that the money isn't there. Who's going to watch these guys?

Bivol was an anchor on Canelo's PPV numbers in their fight; the public isn't going to shell out cash to watch these two. It sucks because I would love to see it, but such is the state of boxing.

 

This is a classic case of the promoters delaying/blocking the fight. Bivol is the only guy that can outbox Beterbiev.

 

Which just shows you that boxing fans are full of sh***. Super biased fangirls and casuals that has no idea what a good boxer is.
Bivol = Elite fighter that has incredible style. Very high pace, throw a lot of punches, put a lot of combination, world class defense and offence, and super good footwork. Top notch chin as well.

Beterbiev = elite fighter as well. Good boxer and p4p the hardest puncher in the game. Resume full with KOs only.

Both are also incredible looking top shape athlete.
This should be the most demand fight in the business.

 

Agreed, the money simply isn't there which is a real shame. It could be a truly terrific fight against the two stand out light heavies of this era.

Both these guys should be stars, Bivol beating the cash cow in Canelo, Beterbiev just being this wrecking ball of a fighter KOing everyone. But these fighters inability to draw casual fans to their fanbase will insure this fight financially never makes sense to the men behind them to make this fight.

 

It might be possible that Beterbiev Gvozdyk made this fight even more difficult to make. Beterbiev and Gvozdyk fought and the winner took home no spoils. Nobody knew or cared about Beterbiev before that victory and nobody knew or cared about him afterwards. So from a financial perspective you have to ask what are the rewards for assuming so much risk?

 

If Tommy Fury can be marketed into a PPV star then Bivol and Beterbiev can be too. It just needs effort on the part of Hearn and Arum.

Unfortunately for Bivol, Hearn is protecting Canelo from another humiliating loss and stalling Bivol's career

Likewise, Arum is making little effort to market Beterbiev, and is unaware that he has the next Khabib on his hands with a MASSIVE Muslim and Caucus fanbase ready to pay to watch him.

 

Exactly they don't do their job promoting even to the slightest.

 

True also Bivol punches very hard himself, those combinations he landed on Canelo & especially Zurdo was the evidence.

 

Canadian LHWs just don't want that Russian smoke.

It's a combination of promoters v money. I doubt very highly either is ducking the other, neither has demonstrated that attribute.

 

Beterbiev is 38, if Bivol waits until he's over 40 to fight him will he even get any credit for beating him at that point? Like Canelo beating GGG in their last fight.
