I think with a perfect PED-testing system, he would struggle to have 'abnormal levels of testosterone and HGH' for a 39/40 year old man and therefore could be beaten by someone like Bivol and likely other skilled boxers much younger. Isn't it remarkable that boxing is a sport where apparently it's normal for men around 40 or even older to not only be competitive with males 20-34, but actually be ON TOP of the sport. And we're talking about a highly physically demanding sport with massive cardio requirements. There's nothing else like this. In tennis, you have the best players of all time struggling to stay on top in their mid 30s and by late 30s they are retired or just hoping to sneak a another big tournament win, no longer hoping to be no.1. And there is PED use there too. But it just shows the extreme PED use in boxing.
Not sure how you can post that when he's just had a razor-thin UD decision over Bivol (A fight many he thought he lost, not me, but many did) It'd be hard for a guy, who mainly relies on technique, to beat him AB. AB will walk through you and cut off the ring. The fighter to beat AB would be someone like a Triple G for the LHW. A strong, massive puncher with a rock solid chin who can fight 12 hard rounds and not wilt. They need not be skilful, just someone who can match his physical strength. You have to punch AB really hard to the point where you discourage him to even think of attacking. AB is also lucky because he's in an era where there ain't any great black American LHW fighters. I don't see AB being undefeated if he had to face Toney, Spinks, Foster, Ward, Tarver, B-Hopkins, RJJ....or even white guy Joe Calzaghe.
You're entitled to your opinion and entitled to seek comfort by finding other people who agree with you. But yeah Boxrec has the result recorded as a MD for Beterbiev. It is what It is man.
No they don't. Bivol having a slightly higher total is just a quirk of how boxrec decided to present the scorecards. Fights are not scored like that.
Sorry but Ward and Calzaghe got nothing to suggest me they can beat him and I find laughable to think otherwise, B-Hop at light-heavy was good but not that elite with age being a factor tho but I don't see any version defeatin' Biev, The Executioner might lose to the canadian to the distance after givin' him too much respect. Idk about Tarver, did each other face and beat convincely a fighter similar to the other? Spinks, Toney and Roy would be the ones that could outpoint him.
