This is a tough one to me.... I think Ward has great ring generalship and savvy. He's gonna win the Super Six no doubt in my mind if he stays.. if he doesn't then I guess I'ma eat those words... he is fast, slick.. shows bits of a Hopkins style.. flashes of a SSM... he's definatley not a Roy Jones Jr... but he can always improve and get better, he's still young Then you got Sergio Martinez... He's fast and slick.. very fast and slick.. he lost to loaded gloves Margarito... he beat Kermit the leap frog Cintron........ had a close fight with Williams.... He has pretty good defense, he can bob his head and make defenders miss within close range... he can brawl but at middleweight may definitely lack some power.. he can counterpunch.. he does a great job of bobbing n weaving, has some goodfootwork, and he didnt have much of an amateur career.. so I think you know who I'm picking... I think Martinez is better as of now... could and should be Number one p4p but Ward should be right there behind him too.. If Martinez beats Williams then I know he should be there cuz I doubt Floyd or Pac would beat him
Ward has one good win on his record; a version of Kessler who we now know had serious eye problems before the fight. Martinez has one good win; a weight drained, dehydrated, and exhausted Kelly Pavlik. I do not think either fighter will live up to the hype that currently surrounds them.
More like a hung over Kelly Pavlik.... He walked into that fight looking like he just woke up after a long night of drinking.

You can't be serious, There have been plenty of times where I have agreed with you and plenty of times when we have argued ... but I have always found to to be a respectable poster... you seriously put me on your ignore list because I am stating the obvious on Pavlik??? Hell Im a fan of Pavlik....he just looks like he dosent look to have his life together and it's a shame how his career is turning out.
Ward. If Martinez beats PW in a rematch then I feel he has a better case. I'm not a PW fan but the way people act like Martinez clearly won is a load of ****. It was a very close fight and Martinez started to gas bad towards the end. That added with him always backing up is very good grounds to assume why the judges gave the nod to PW.
I think ward has more ways to win. Better overall skills so I think ward is better. They are clearly both pretty damn good fighters though
