Carnera relied on his size and did have a good jab but that' it

Bowe was a beast when he wanted to be. Riddick was a superior fighter in every way

Riddick Bowe is closer to Buddy Baers style.
SHWs who walk into the pocket, and stay there with short punches, subtle upper body movement, and various flavors of guards.
And they almost never fight with their knees bent.
It's a lazier style than AJ, Wilder Klitschkos, and Primos.

Carnera actually kept his knees bent. Used real footwork.
Used agile distance control. He was probably a better technical fighter than Bowe.

Once you've decided to incorporate non-bent knees into your style, you've pretty much given up on the textbook. Which is totally fine if you make it work. But it's not something you teach another boxer.

This thread is a Bonanza full of gems. A trollcarnage festival and imho unmatched here on BF24.

Its endless. My (s)hitlist in no order (there´s alot more):

"Carnera's inside game was better than either of the Klitschko's."

"He (Carnera) was more coordinated (than the Klitschko's)."

    "Carnera has fast agile feet."

--> Read again. Yep its there :bananaride:aaaaa::copas::copas::copas::risas3::risas3:

"Carnera was good on the inside, good on the outside, and good anywhere between!"

"Riddick Bowe is closer to Buddy Baers style."

--> Remember Buddy? The guy with legs twice as thin as Wilders, shoulder widh of 78", flat like a board and moving like John Cleese? Yep, its out there, changed nilch! :aaaaa::banana::aaaaa::banana::risas3:

    "Carnera used real footwork."

    "Carnera used agile distance control."

--> You just couldn´t hit him, too quick, reflexes of a cheetah :lol::risas3:

"He (Carnera ) was a better technical fighter than Bowe."

"Carnera was the better all-round technician (in comp. to Bowe)."

    "Carnera was better (than Bowe)."

"He knocked out more than twice as many people as Bowe."

"Carnera has far better mobility (than Bowe)."

"Primo is constantly moving around the ring, cutting the other fighter off or creating angles for his 85" jab."

--> Can it get better than that? :risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3:

"Primo was as legit as any SHW there ever was."

"You can't knock Carnera unless you are going to knock every giant heavyweight who ever won the world title."

    "Primo was a rare beast."

    --> Even rarer than Hong-man Choi ??

"Trust your own eyes. primo knocked guys out. It's on film."

"Primo was effective at world level."

You seem rather against Primo. Yet you call yourself GOAT Primo Carnera?

If the above statements are as absurd as you say, then you should be able to articulate some sort of effective counter argument.
