Better all round fighter Jack Dempsey or Vitali Klit?

Eh? For a guy "fighting tall" and using his height to his advantage Vitali was very good. I'm not saying he was some sort of brilliant technician like Whittaker, I'm saying he made the most of the tools he had available. It wasn't easy to take Vitali out of his comfort zone despite his awkwardness and lack of creativity.

 

I am referring to his punching technique.A lot of arm punches too.And his defense, his hands are too low and Lewis exposed some flaws there

 

I agree. He kept his hands low too often and he was lucky there weren't a lot of tall guys with fast twitch muscles in his era or he would have gotten exposed. I don't think he "ducked" David Haye as he was old and injury prone but i got a funny feeling that he didn't fancy his chances.

You're right about his arm punching too. It's the reason he couldn't knockout a stationary gassed Shannon Briggs.
