Prince by far. The great thing about him was that he defied boxing logic. Chin out and hnads down, yet he did so well. He really was a treasure and a great British Boxer. He is still one of my faves and is the reason why i got into boxing. Compared to Floyd though he was a lot more entertaining in and out of the ring. This comes from a massive fan of both fighters!
Defo Naz. Mayweather doesn't have charisma imo, when he went to WWE he was the most boring and cringing performer i've seen. I went to WWF in about 1999 and Naz came out, in Sheffield, he said something about Austin is gunna ko The Rock and everyone went wild!
If you're asking who's the better boxer, yep Floyd no doubt. But as others have already said, it's not even close in the entertainment department. Floyd's trash talk and demeanour is a serious deterrent. To entertain someone, you need to amuse them and make them feel good watching you. Floyd unfortunately lacks the charisma to achieve this. On camera his persona seems so forced, that more often than not, he embarrasses himself and it just doesn’t feel right. Whereas Naz, his confidence (or arrogance if you prefer) flowed naturally. He didn’t even need to open his mouth for you to sense the aura of specialness he built around himself. His entrances, fights, interviews, they all made great TV. Whether you’d like to admit or not, I honestly think Floyd drew inspiration from Naz’s entertainment factor.
Naz was ****ing funny. Floyd usually just comes across as a knob. ''I'm a gorilla I'm a dog! I'm a dog I'm a gorilla!'' It's a shame Naz gave it all up after losing to Barerra.
It's not a contest in who is the better entertainer, come on! Floyd's angle is to come acroos as obnoxious, Naz outright entertained.
The main man was Naz! I was laughing my arse off at some of the comment s he used to make, ripping into the opposition, and when he brags you knew it was bravado but he always backed it up with explosive boxing! His Boxing was tailor made for the public and he knew they thrived on the big knockout. Floyd, although a much techically better boxer, will never be close in the entertainment factor.
They both provide(d) entertainment for me in different ways...but Naseem was the all round entertainer in the sport. And one of the reasons he is my favourite boxer of all-time.
