Bradley. He's fought the stiffer competition, showed more intangibles, and has very tight skills of his own. DA is on the rise, but I refuse to overrate the kid after one good win, when Bradley has 4.
Alexander has top pound for pound potential. Guy was making me dizzy as he continually circled Urango and picked him apart.
Which Bradley would have done in similar fashion, but without eating all those hooks with his head up in the air after his corner repeatedly asked him to knock it off. :deal
When you get hit by Urango, and don't flinch, you have a chin. Devon hasn't ever been down amateur sparring or pro while TB has been down. TB also has a chin, but he can be hit. TB's body attack/counter punching is a thing of beauty to watch when he turnds it up. Devon for a 23 year old fights like a vet, and he waited until it was the right time to time Urango who has a chin himself. Tim makes you pick your feet up so that you can't plant to punch, and he hits you at will when he is on his game. Right now I'd pick Devon A, but you can't ever count out Bradley. I don't bet, but I wouldn't bet on who wins that fight if it happens lol.
Yeah, but Bradley's been down before in fights, and hit in fights more than Alexander. I didn't see Alexander hit alot with Urango's hook. Landing punches that do no damage, and landing clean punches that are doing damage are two different things. Devon said Urango didn't punch hard, and Devon didn't have a mark on his face after the fight, so I don't see the point in what you're saying...
Alexander really impressed me with his performance last night. I hadn't seen much of him before, but he's definitely on the right track. The same, however, can be said for Bradley who's also seen his stock raise in my eyes with his improvement. I wouldn't wager on either of them right now against the other, although I might make Alexander a very, very slight favorite.
Bradley. Alexander will be better in time. Hearing that DA has never been down is impressive. DA has a great style of constantly turning your opponent.
Alexander got hit by urango a few times, but he made him miss a hell of a lot of times as well. Alexander stays in the pocket, but makes people miss and can get just out of harms way at times. Bradley is similar, but can be better at closing the distance and all around better on his feet. This would be a highly contested fight with two fighters that are both great boxers. I don't think it would be an exact "crowd pleasing" fight, but I know that plenty of us would be dazzled by the skills that these two possess.
Devon Alexander. He is a better fighter. He enjoys every second that he is in the ring. At 140 --- right now ---- he beats them ALL --- including Manny Paquiao. If he hits Pac with that uppercut that he hit Urango, Pac is going to sleep. Only thing --- Pac will never fight a fighter like Alexander.
I actually think Bradley has just the right tools to defeat Alexander, though I don't question it would be an exciting fight.
Tim is a better fighter right now but Devon can crack! Tim has a proven championship hart and Devon is still in question. Also Tim has better foot work and stronger legs. I noticed that Devon can be moved even when blocks a punch while Tim is a wall. I give the edge to Bradley but Devon is on the rise.
