Better base deal maybe. But I highly doubt they have the potential to give him the money he can earn in the UFC.
Im not sure the semantics matter. As the UFC offered him less than what One FC did. Bottom line is, and as is usually the case with most fighters, he went with the best deal.

If he has the ability to get to the top levels of his profession, I can't see how One FC is going to pay him more money, give him a higher profile, or give him access to better-quality competition than the UFC will. :good If he doesn't back himself to get to the top, sure, take the deal with the second-tier organization. But if he has the skills and the confidence, I think that he'll find that the UFC can provide a consistently higher class of opponent and a bigger stage to work on. And if he can win on a consistent basis, I suspect they'll put more money in his pocket as well. :hat
