any one know where the london boxing hour is ? irrelievent to the thread but was worth making new one
The consensus is that he lost to Ward by a country mile; and he did. Irrespective of incompetent scoring, the consensus is that Kessler won in Denmark in a close-ish competitive fight. Fights can be closer than four rounds on the scorecards and yet still have definitive winner in the minds of most. This he won't accept at all, he''ll just continues **** and moan about it. And yet when it comes to the Dirrell fight; on which there's no consensus, the only consensus being that it was razor thin either way, he'll dismiss it as if he were a decisive victor. Ego-maniac!
Was agreeing with you regarding the Ward fight, the scorecards were way off, but it is in his best interest to claim it was a close, competitive fight so I can see why he'd use that line. I agree on Kessler and Dirrell too, I think the right man won both fights in competitive bouts, but equally I can see why Froch would use them to big himself up. He thrives on confidence so can't blame him for trying to spin them in his favour one way or another.
