He's passing every medical pre and post fight so I am guessing it doesn't look as bad as it appears. I always used to think he used to do it on purpose to make himself look like a hardcase.
He clearly doesn't do it on purpose. He does it in the corner between rounds, too. Before fights. After fights. During fights. All of his bouts as a pro have been in Canada. How stringent is Canada about revoking boxing licenses from fighters after medical exams? I've never known Canada to be especially strict about not allowing boxers to fight. I've just never heard people address it. If someone in your house was doing that all the time, you'd take them to the doctor.
I'm amazed people still think Makhmudov is any good, he barely beat Takam. He needs to be very carefully matched up, because if he fights anyone decent he's getting exposed again. He's so basic it's hard to watch, yeah he has power but so did Ajagba and Dubois, skills is what wins fights most of the time and that's where he's lacking.
He has skills and power and size. Defensively hes a bit crap but he can get on his feet. No chin issues yet! He wontt be matched carefully he wants a title shot asap. Brighton you need to realise with these big lumps anyone can beat anyone on the night.
Skills what skills, throwing the same predictable punch over and over again? His jab is crap, he doesn't move his head, his movement is poor, he doesn't really counter, he just looks like a neanderthal and can punch that's it. He's probably better than Ajagba and Dubois but not by much. He isn't getting a title shot anytime soon, if Fury/Usyk doesn't happen Usyk has a mandatory obligations that will tie him up for at least a year and then the Fury fight. Fury himself if he doesn't fight Usyk isn't going to face a nobody like Mahkmudov and Mahk is nowhere near being a WBC mandatory as that will likely be the winner of Wilder/Ruiz if that happens and the WBC is notorious for not forcing mandatories so even if Mahk found himself in that position he could be years away from a title shot.
Fury is going to try and fight Ruiz. Failing that he will be looking to slip Charr in, like he tried six months ago. He will never fight someone dangerous like Mahkmoudov for the small money it would pull.
And it looks like Danny boy may get a title shot anyway. Makhmudov is going to crush all, hes more athletic than you think, explosive.
Would be a good great fight. Hrgovic might be a bit more silky, but the firepower belongs to Arslanbek.
He has power and is a good athlete based on the training vids I've seen but he's so damn crude. Also his power can't be all that he couldn't even stop an old Takam, even Chisora managed that.
True but he still had the power to KO Takam and Takam took 10 rounds of Makh's best shots and was still standing at the end and that was a Takam that was 4 years older than the one that fought Chisora.
