Yeah that loss to Fury ended the hype.
    Turn his show upside down.

    Glen Johnson.

From the tough out for everyone to a world champion and even a low key money and name guy for opponents. All his real success came after he already had 10+ losses.

That's what I'm talking about though - the way he rose like a phoenix from the ashes and resurrected his career after that loss to the brother of a GOAT.

They said The Jakeover was The Fakeover and that he could never defeat an actual boxer but in his very next fight he not only jumped right back in there with another boxer but he opted to fight a massive punching CW one who was a two-time Golden Glove champion and he knocked him spark out in seconds with another KO of the century type finish. Remarkable!

I completely forgot about Pendleton, what a ride that had to have been.

Micky Ward? Been in crazy wars, FOTYs, made a couple Million I'm guessing, had a movie made about him. Not too bad either.

You're right. Ward's career was as amazing as it was improbable. Good call.

    Robinson Castellanos
Also known as Robin Hood. He started his career with a stellar 10-10 record.
He then went on a 11 fight tear which earned him an undeserved world ranking and a solid win over the once fantastic but now ageing Celestino Caballero.
Rene Alvarado put an end to that run by stopping Castellanos in the 9th.
Castellanos returned 8 months later with a spectacular upset over the fast rising Ronny Rios. Castellanos followed this up with a win over once great Rocky Juarez. Juarez himself was turning his career around with wins over Antonio Escalante and Rene Alvarado, the latter who ended Castellanos´ win streak.

Castellanos was awarded an interim title shot vs Oscar Escandon. Escandon KO´d Castellanos in the 7th.
But Castellanos wasn´t done yet as in his next fight he upset the now 35 year old Yuriorkis Gamboa via KO in the 7th.
For his efforts, Castellanos was awarded a title shot vs Jezzrel Corrales. Corrales ended up scraping by with a close TD.

A year later in Russia, Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov put an end to the now 36 year old Castellanos´ fantastic career by stopping him

I absolutely loved the way his career unfolded. Kept getting stopped and yet returned with bigger and bigger wins.
