Just wondering who's got the purest fighter mentality today. Of the boxers i've seen that comes to mind it's between guys like margarito hopkins andrade pac calzaghe... my favorite of these guys i calzaghe, because it's seems he always try harder than his opponent, even though you might question the some of the opposition, he always finds a way...
To me, PAC... after all his wars with the Barrera and Morales of this world, he seems to be very stable mentally and has a HUGE heart.
Calzaghe`s mental strength is great no doubt as is any of the elite top 5 or 6 p4pers or they wouldnt be there.

Well here's the thing; some fighters just haven't had the opportunity to display their "heart" or "mental toughness". Take Floyd for example. He has been in control of every fight and there for never really was put in a position to display his heart. I'll just give examples of Heart, and Mental Toughness that really impressed me. Current fighters only Heart: Wlad in the Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster fights Roy Jones in the first Tarver fight JMM in the Pac fights Pac in the first EM fight MAB/EM/Vasquez/RM - in all their fights Cotto and Margo in their fight Mental Toughness: Calzaghe in the Hopkins and Jones fight - getting up from that KD Floyd after getting low blowed by Judah Margarito - You just can't fight like he does without mental toughness Vitali - It's just obvious
