I agree totally, that's what I meant about things equalling out in the end.Just meant I was shocked first time because I felt Barrera had done enough. The first two had the wrong decisions.
Ottke Vs Reid Williams vs lara Khan Vs peterson Fury Vs Mcdermott The list goes on and on, an quite frankly its the main thing I hate about boxing. I WILL NOT ACCEPT IT AS JUST PART OF THE GAME!!!! And neither should anyone else...
IT WAS/IS NOT A ROBBERY!!! It was a close fight could have went either way. Don't think you know the difference between a close fight and a robbery? A robbery was Chisora V Helenius or RJJ in the Olympics Final
Of recent times. Pac Vs JMM 3, I havent seen much worse than that of recent, but mind you I havent watched Chisora or the Lara/Williams fight. Those who claim that Mayweather Vs Castillo was more of a robbery than Pac Vs JMM 'Dont know **** about boxing'
Honestly. De La Hoya vs Mayweather. ****in' Robbery. Everyone knew Mayweather lost that fight, his dad was interviewed after it and thought he lost, and millions of people witnessed him lose to a faded De La Hoya at the end of his career who STILL fought like a damn lion. Holyfield-Valuev. Yeah that's right. ****in' Robbery. Holyfield worked that big ******* the whole time, Valuev did NOTHING to win that fight. I think the judges were just impressed with his size and ability to take punches as a result. Holyfield-Ruiz 3. Ruiz did next to nothing to win, but was still awarded with a draw when he should have easily lost the fight. With those victories Holyfield would have won more heavyweight titles than any champion in history and I think it's bull**** that-that distinction has been stolen from him. Hopkins-Taylor 2. Hopkins won that fight decisively and compubox said so. Chris Byrd- Fres Oquendo. Oquendo won the fight easily and Byrd looked like ****. It was a robbery of a decision that took a wolrd title away from a man who fought his ass off to win it in Oquendo. This was a Don King fix if you ask me.
The worst decision I've ever seen is Qawi vs Ocasio, absolutely horrific. Ocasio was extremely negative & didnt land a single decent punch all night. He ran & he held & was eventually deducted a point. Ocasio lost every single round but was given the fight on a MD (96-94, 95-94, 95-95)
:rofl I guess the Prescott fight was also a robbery. Prescott shouldnt of been allowed to punch so hard...
I think you're thinking of the first fight. Hopkins made the adjustments to avoid exactly what you are talking about in the 2nd fight and out-boxed him. It may have been close but there was no doubt in my mind Hopkins had won that fight. This is why it was controversial. You think Taylor won as do others, I think Hopkins won as do others. It was robbery to those that felt Hopkins won, and I wasn't convinced that Talyor did enough in the first one to take away the title. You have to go out and BEAT the champ, not just give him a good fight, to win his belt. You have to take the title away, not box 12 competitive rounds and get a gifted decision to stop someones winning streak.
Reid vs ottke. This is the only fight i can ever remember seeing a referee warning a fighter (reid) for throwing a punch.
