    don't disagree with you there are plenty of other very good welters who would give the POWERboxing slugger tough fights or beat him.

    And lightweights too.

    he had a good run of looking mostly at that level though before it went wrong.

    Well this devolved quickly. A more pertinent example mcgrain would have been: Duran let Leoncio Ortiz hang around for 15 rounds, until Carlos Eleta told him the check cleared and they could leave.
