No think he was 13-6 or maybe 15-6 but 90's guys back me up here!!! World class left hook. The whole gym shook when he was on the pads.... he wasn't even a big light middle but **** me he made Wayne Alexander look like Barry Jones.

Both joined Graham a few years later... I trained with Gomez at Bobby Rimmers and trained with Brian Hughes too for a short time.

If you guys think Graham is a absolutely shite trainer, as you proclaim, by default that must make Hatton potentially immense.

Macklin was able to fight at that pace.........if he wasn't down at Light-Middle . Whoever made the decision to get him down to Light-Middleweight is the one who really ****ed up . Macklin was the biggest Light-Middleweight I've ever seen in that fight . God knows what he did to make the weight .

Buddy McGirt is getting Macklin to start using his boxing skills again rather than being Ricky Hatton mark II and I feel it will serve him well . He still has the power , drive and aggression whenever he needs it and is capable of hanging with Europe's best in the skills department .

For me Macklin is fringe World class and will dispose of Gibbs impressively .

I think Graham is a very good trainer, but as with many trainers, all his fighters seem to be very similar - as they clearly work to a plan, defined by the trainer.

Mackin was too big to get down to 154, but was ignoring the advice of Graham in the corner anyway, perhaps he was just too pumped to listen, I don't know.

Much of this drivel has been spread by Frank Warren recently - saying Hatton should ditch him. Rumour has it that in the middle of last year Frank had an eye on re-signing Hatton, and guess who was one of the biggest obstacles?

    Graham.

It would be good for Hatton to develop a jab though.

Now its time to shoot Billy Graham down:-(

So the Hatton haters are now going after his trainer:-(

Silly boys, look Graham whilst not being an elite trainer suits Hatton down to the ground, he has taken Hatton to titles in two divisions, beaten two pound for pounders in Tszyu and Castillo.

Unless its just me i think thats a bloody good record. Granted its with one fighter but its still a better record than most

Castillo was never a p4p fighter, he's only known for his fights with Corrales.
