The Mayweather fan statement is a baseless generalization. Some people can actually appreciate both fighters without having to sensationalize or vilify one or the other.

And Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest fighters who ever lived. He's probably not the guy you want to cite as an example for other fighters to have similar success in their mid 30's. He's also a guy who won titles in 5 weight classes, so I don't know how anyone can compare a fighter who never left 160 and challenge himself against top tier guys just 8 pounds above where he naturally campaigns with a guy who went up 24 pounds in weight over the years.

Same thing can apply with the great Manny pacquiao. There's a reason why those 2 guys are considered the best of their eras. They truly dared to be great.

Chudinov was getting beat up by Ajetovic in his last fight, Chudinov is the definition of a caveman anyone with a modicum of skill takes him apart, and let's be honest Eubank looked like hell in the match, he held incessantly for the first 8 rounds. N'Dam would box circles around him as well as Eubank. Rosado beat Clottey, Soto-Karass, Love probably all equal if not better than Chudinov.

I don't think K2 should pay Saunders more than 2M. It's huge money and Saunders isn't even a big name. He might loose to Eubank jr and loose everything. IMO if he takes Lemieux he will loose definitely. To me it looks like Saunders is just afraid of a beating. No shame on that.

I thought Chudinov looked great, that was the roy jones undercard wasnt it?

He looked like he was going to stop that bloke every round.

Edit: Simon was his last fight on roy jones undercard, and he was great in that fight

2 million sounds fair. How much did Lemieux get? Saunders deserves as much as Lemieux. Of course, I'd like to see Saunders rematch Eubank and then Golovkin could fight the winner. Saunders isn't lying, that people want to see that rematch, so he's got some unfinished business elsewhere in the division. I just hope he doesn't shoot himself in the foot and get neither fight, like when Khan was angling for Floyd and Pacquiao using Brook as leverage and then got nobody.

No that was Benjamin Simon who was KO'd by Karo Murat as well.

**** Saunders, he is one of the most boring fighters I have ever seen. Tureano Johnson is much more exciting than BJ, Golovkin should fight him

Over valuing himself because he can make the same against someone else? I'd want more too lol

I'm not seeing how or why one would claim he's "overvaluing himself". According to whom?

    :huh

Barcham, I have agreed with you previously that there are a number of people out there who can potentially beat BJS. I'm not overly impressed with him, but then again, I'm not exactly blown away by the level of talent currently campaigning at 160.

But you continuously make it seem as if BJS will inevitably lose in the next fight or 2. It could happen, and that likelihood will largely depend on who he chooses to face, but aside from GGG, whom I think beats BJS decisively and impressively, I'm not sure I'd favor anyone else against BJS at this time.

How many guys not named GGG do you genuinely FAVOR over BJS at 160?

He probably wouldn't be in such a poor standing with the fans if he wasn't so vocal about not fighting Golovkin in the past, dug a hole for himself.

Actually, I'm not sure he could make 2 mil against anyone else, even Eubanks. Does anyone know Saunder's purse history? I couldn't find any numbers, but I saw that Andy Lee only got 500k for Quillin. Based on that, I'd expect both parties of the Lee/Saunders fight to make sub $1 million purses, and likely only 500k-750k each. Saunders is only 23 fights in and just stepped up his competition a year ago. It's unlikely that he could have seen any major pay days yet.

Sounds like you rate ndam pretty highly.

Ndam has absolutely nothing for BJS. BJS is a great boxer much better than ndam thats for sure. Ndam doesn't even have a punchers chance which atleast a limited fighter like Lemeiux has.
