I'm surprised so many see Hall as a threat. Saunders is no Coleslaw, or Lee Noble. Maybe people are getting a bit carried away reacting to BJS' difficulties with Blackwell? Let's recall he looked plenty impressive in the other 75% of his 2012 campaign. Also, Blackwell's pretty good (and would probably beat the 28-going-on-40 Hall). Saunders can outbox Hall and turn aside his pressure as Webb managed to ultimately do, except unlike Sam he's actually got the power to get Hall's respect and sting him.
Just had a look back at my RBR and did actually have it for Hall myself. Still, Billy is a full level above that.
I think people were getting carried away with BJS and nobody expected Blackwell to last the distance. Hall is ok but nothin great out of his weight division and is a come forward bob and weave fighter who will stand in front of BJS all night. Basically made for BJS to look good expect the BJS hype train to be back on track and full steam ahead after an impressive stoppage of Hall.
I dont know about that, in the past he has looked quite soft at 160lb but he looked pretty lean (and naked) to make 160lb at the weigh in!!
For me BJS wins quite comfortably. Hall isn't a middleweight and will never be 1, and BjS is big and strong at the weight. I rate hall as a light middle and has been unlucky IMO against webb(I thought he won) and against o,Sullivan where I thought he won clearly ,even though it was at middleweight. I fancy BJS On points or late stoppage, but hall should concentrate at light middle because he is more than a match for the likes of rosé,Liam smith,Webb etc. Looking forward to it though, hopefully it's a good fight!
I also see a comfortable BJS win, stoppage in middle rounds. Personally never rated Hall (no bad but there was a time where he was lauded - particularly after Pryce win). Konecny made me a decent amount of money when he stopped Hall!
have a look on FWP facebook page they put a list of all fights and times, sorry i cant check facebook blocked at work
Smith is bang average, I fancy hall quite comfortable against him, rose would be a tighter affair but I'm still not overly fussed about rose,as for ohieng he hasn't fought anyone of note yet and people getting over excited after he stopped quigley, so for me the jury is still out but he should improve cause he is a good age and has plenty of time.
Smith aint average, hes techincally very good can punch and is very good on the inside, hes improving well under Gallagher and is still young
Yeah it seems like if it isn't a first few round blowout then the guy is over-hyped, Hall has very very little chance here (should never say no chance in this game)
