    Hi Billy

Has Martin recovered from the injury yet?

    Are you still training him?

Any idea when he’s out next? A fight against the Allen/Browne winner would be a good move

Yes there will be news on Martin very soon, we would gladly fight the winner of that fight, although Allan’s team have refused the fight several times previously

As someone said i could youth and junior.
But he didn't box much internationally at senior due to ireland insanely strong at 75lg and he's coudin being the top guy at 81kg
If i just said top amateur some smart ass would just say 'how is he a top amateur, he did nothing at senior'

“Underage” “amateur” sounds like a few posters favoured porn categories.

Well OK Billy but the whole thing sounds a bit iffy. For starters he doesn't look fit to me. He doesn't look like he has much heart either. You say he had some vague unspecified "personal reason" that explains why Martin flopped. Bad things happen to ordinary people every day. For example lots of ordinary folks suffer deaths of loved ones and other setbacks at the worst possible turning, in the middle of doing exams, at critical times in their jobs etc. They just have to get on with it. Anyway worryingly Martin didn't choose to confide in you about what was wrong and even more worryingly you didn't pick up on it yourself. All in all a lot of people would be saying it raises questions about the relationship ye two have. Martin's stock ain't exactly sky high at the moment. He can't afford another flop. I hope he realizes this. I'm pretty sure he's a dud and I think others think the same. It'll take results to change our minds. Results, not excuses.

I'm very glad to hear that Billy. I could easily be completely wrong about him. I hope he lives up to your expectations. It would be great for both of you. Time will tell. :)

Mike Hunter is a real handful, and it was always a risky fight. He had given Usyk a terrific tussle, so his talent was obvious. Bakole lost, so what ! He regroups and moves on. Too many boxers are overly concerned about deceptive undefeated records.
