It's the same as people going to the gym thinking the same thing when I can do a full decent workout in under 45 minutes.If you know what you're doing you don't need anywhere near 3 hours.
i dont need his assistance and id much rather him submit his own opinion and leave it at that. as well he seems to point out things that just arnt needed like how a head of lettuce is defiantly in no way the same as a slice of cheese cake....but really i guess that was the point of the original post that you should eat a head of lettuce because in no way is it like a slice of cheese cake......but no i make my point and get trolled into a 20 some post conversation... you cant get a good boxing work out in 45 mins. if you can do your warm up stretching jump rope hitting the bag shadow boxing weights sit ups and jogging in 45 mins well...good for you.
You're turning down free help from somebody that has a clue, you clearly don't. Are you ignoring what he says because you can't take you're wrong (the usual reason) or do you have evidence he is wrong. What he said are facts not his opinions. He was comparing the calories in a vegetable compared to the calories in a peice of cheese cake to put the difference into perspective. It's really not as complicated as you're making out... Try reading before you make yourself look silly again. I said I can do a decent workout in the gym in under 45 minutes. The gym, not boxing. As somebody that isn't a professional and not even sparring I don't see why you'd be training boxing for more than an hour at a time let alone 3 hours. If you go to classes around here they're usually 1 hour and they max out at 2.
a gym work out? so all your saying is you can do a portion of your work out in 45 mins an nothing about how long the actual work out takes? are you familar with the term strawman argument or perhaps the term semantics? at the gym the competitive fighters start at 4 and go to 5:30 6:00 not including road work. the gyms open to any one from 6:30 to 9:30 and on sparring days tues and thur some of the competitive fighters stick around till 8 sparring. as well last year i did train for a marathon and at one point 3+ hours became just another weekend long run. at pro 1337 pro training camp ill say 3 hours is about right right now i work out closer to 2 hours with sit ups shoulder exercises heavy bag shadow boxing and jog or bike for an hour.

Are these individuals training constantly for 3 hours straight? No. If they are they're not working very hard. This is just irrelevant... They're pros, they train for longer periods... Okay...
id say they work decently hard when they stick around later they dont spar every match and when they arnt sparring they usually just stand around and talk or help do pads. they do their hour and a half boxing and road work pretty hard.
