The hardest punches are the ones you don’t see coming.. Canelo doesn’t punch as hard as Joe Smith Jr but If he lands one of those counter uppercuts Bivol will definitely get crushed..

What punch do you think Bivol is most open to?

To beat this Hulk version of canelo you have to hurt him. Bivols firepower isn't up to it.

Everyone can be knocked out if you hit that perfect spot and the brain triggers the switch off.

But watch out for those truly chinny folks doin dipsy dews, involuntary buckling or that infamous jelly legs. Those are big signs that the punches are affecting their conditioning directly.

Oscar Dela hoya, GGG, Canelo, and even these fighters that got knocked out dead or whatnot like Duran, Pacquiao, Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Foreman can be considered to have a great chin.

You can win without seriously hurting your opponent. This will come down to Canelo coming for the KO or Bivol getting a fair shake on the scorecards.

So I guess they won't be any excuses when Canelo stops him?

Canelo will punish Bivol both to the body and head specially the body, I don't see Bivol making it to the final bell.

I’m going for Canelo stoppage. I don’t think it’ll be a one punch KO but I can see him breaking Bivol down with big shots in the last few rounds

Smith is a banger for sure.

it's a shame that he has no real inside game though and those long organutan arms means he will always be effetive the most from the outside coming forward.

Always in exicting fights though but Top Rank really need to market him better as an All American blue collar type of guy.

Tough, hits really hard, has an absolutely crazy engine, and his skills have improved and he's very brave. Anyone who suffers a broken jaw in round 1 or 2 and fights on to the final bell deserves a lot of credit but he did so after having suffered a broken jaw before knowing he had another 6-8 weeks of hell of having his jaw wired shut again. He lost 40lbs in weight during that time. And he's a very likeable humble guy.

Smith hits a good deal harder than Canelo imho, and he landed that shot right at or after the bell as Bivol was starting back to his corner. It smashed him right behind the ear which is hell on the balance. If he wasn't affected by a punch like that it would be truly remarkable.

Now I think canelo is far more skilled than Smith but he's also far smaller.

I don't think that Canelo will be able to hurt Bivol UNLESS he slows him down a great deal by going to the body.

Bivol's size, speed and fleet footedness are what are going to seriously trouble Canelo.
