BJS - "Two mandatories next year before a big fight"

Current WBO rankings are:

1. Avtandil Khurtsidze
2. Tommy Langford

So it looks like Billy will have another year without a meaningful fight which will make it 2 years after winning the WBO belt.

Is he holding the belt hostage? Thoughts?

 

They're enforced mandatories, so technically its down to the WBO. but i can't excuse hm turning down being on the Canelo/Smith undercard

 

Khurtsidze will beat him on last weekends showing, he is relentless.

 

If BJS doesn't get his act together, Khurtsidze will make him pay dearly for it.

Don't know much about Langford.

 

Khurtsidze is a decent fighter in fairness I don't think that's a bad fight

So people will still not give a damn about BJS?

If this is the case why did Warren offer Eubank a fight (if true)?

 

Don't agree with people saying Khurtsidze is a good fight. He's beaten nobody of note and he's a little midget, Saunders would jab his head off all night. He's not even been active either recently, total mismatch. So is Langford. Unless Saunders was to get two of these tune up fights as he called them out of the way in the space of two months I'm not interested. I've supported him for ages he needs to back his words up now.

I thought he was unlucky not to get the nod against N'Dam too, who doesn't have a hugely dissimilar style to Saunders

 

he is quality value fighter imo kept my eye on him for years then he seemed to drop off the radar for a while but he looks back and at his best in may seem

Boxing is a joke at times, how can a chump like langford be number 2 in any rankings. Something really needs to be done to stop these terrible mandatory fights happening.

 

Billy is the biggest joke in British Boxing, IMHO. He is absolutely deluded beyond all belief.

This guy talks so much and simply cannot back his words. A real life troll.

He's milking the belt for money, yet to even get a fraction of that Canelo/GGG money, he'll have to go through TWO camps and even then the belt won't mean nothing. Just face GGG or Canelo now.

I wouldn't mind if he fought CEJ again. But these mandatories are flat-out pointless.
