Both men were excellent light heavy's..neither man fought a man there weight with as much talent and power, I would say it would be a tough battle but Foster hit harder at 175 and I may lean with him above 180-215 I would go with Spinks...close fight could go either way and by KO or they may split a few but Bob can clean KO Spinks and both men had serious 175lb power

I think if Bob clocks Michael, when the smoke clears, Michael will still be there.Michael's style and superior boxing ability sees him through some tough moments and a unanimous decison win is the result.

I'd expect Spinks to shatter that glass jaw more often than not.

Spinks is one of the only guys I pick to beat Foster at 175.

Spinks just too classy all around, walks away with a UD.

Of course Foster has a puncher's chance, but I don't see him being able to land consistently. Spinks' jab dominates and his power keeps Foster from getting too ambitious.

Archie beats them all at 175, Charles and Tunney did not live there but were very capable at that weight, Foster dominated that division as did Spinks....Foster was more than just a puncher, he had plenty of skills a fine jab and power in both hands....Shavers could not KO Rondon but Foster murdered him in 2 rds.

My knee jerl reaction is to take Foster, based on his considerable power. But, it got me thinking... spinks weatherd some good shots over his lt. heavy career. And then took the shots of Holmes and Cooney. Sure, those two weren`t in theor primes, but Spinks showed he had pretty good whiskers. Not for Tyson, but then again,in Tyson`s prime not many stood up to his bombs either. I think Spinks is savvy enough and awkward enough to give Foster some problems. And his chin is strong enough to maybe hold him up in the face of Foster`s destructive left hook. This fight either goes with Foster mid rd KO or Spinks UD. Sizewise they match up well, with foster at 6`3`` although he fought in a little bit of a crouch. Spinks a tall 6`2``. I have always liked Foster`s power to take out anyone in the lt Heavy`s ( excpet the Old Mongoose). But I also felt that Spinks was underated as a fighter and his boxing ability coupled with he too had good power makes this very interesting ...
