It depends on which fight Tommy fights

If he uses the tactics he employed against Foreman, Tommy wins a clear decision over Bonecrusher

If he stands right in front of Bonecrusher, ala the Michael Bennt fight or the Mercer fight, Bonecrusher takes him out. Tommy might land a few left hooks, but Bonecrusher, like Mercer, would have the chin to absorb Tommy's best hooks.

I think Smith stops Morrison in about 8 rounds. Smith being more durable is why I pick Smith.

What Unforgiven wrote was not nonsense, you're the one who made the stupid response.

Smith has no real skill to speak of. Morrison at his best wins easy. Morrison could box.

But he's a tough, heavy-handed giant who carried his pop throughout the fight. I doubt Morrison can box much better than Bruno or Witherspoon who both succumbed to Smiths power.

The bottom line is, Morrison has a bad chin and stamina. Smith is durable and can hit like a mule. Doesn't seem like an ideal set of circumstances for Tommy.

The Witherspoon fight was an aberration, Bruno gassed out after dominating for 9 rounds. Also, Smith lost to the china chinned, 205 lb. Marvis Frazier

If Morrison fights a disciplined, strategical fight, like he did against Foreman, he can win a decision.

Foreman2 was better than Smith. Tommy boxes him into a clam shell just like Mike did.

A possibility, as I acknowledged in my initial post.

But with Morrisons stamina and chin, and Smiths power, you never know.

Tommy threw a few flashy combos and did some upperbody movement until he was inevitably gassed. I don't know if I would call him a good boxer. He imitated one for a few rounds until he reverted to looking for an opening for his hook while he huffed and puffed. Just out of curiosity, what was Morrison's second great boxing exhibition? Perhaps one against an opponent who he could not get away with turning his back and literally running away?

Tommy just wasn't durable goods. He hit hard and had quick hands but he could be physically imposed upon. And Smith is nothing if not a physical presence. Giant, unbelievably strong, a very hard hitter and durable. I believe he would see through the storm and finish Tommy about Round 8.

Your precious Wlad turned his back and ran from Povetkin and Fury. But you would never hold that against him.

What was Wlads greatest boxing exhibition? Producing the worst foul infested , grappling match against Povetkin?

Morrison taming the offensive juggernaut Foreman for 12 rounds is better than any single feat Wlad ever produced as far as im concerned.

This is one of your most laughable posts yet... and on so many levels.

No topic is too far afield for you to bring in Wlad. And in this case you reference one fight wherein he dominated a top and notably durable contender who he also KD'd for the first time in over 100 fights and, of course, his 60 somethingth bout, a fight in which he was 39.

Calling old Foreman an offensive juggernaut is a nice touch, too. He was about as mobile as lead balloon.

I'd bet on Tommy Morrison to win likely by KO. Bonecrusher has a solid chance of getting a first round knockout but I think its more likely that Morrison wins in a tough fight. I wouldn't be surprised to see Morrison go down a couple times before winning.

The reality that Tyson failed to knock Smith out is a pretty telling of Morrison's chances to pull that off.
