Berndt Boente, manager of WBC world champion heavyweight Vitali Klitschko (45-2, 41 KOs) says Vitali has not yet decided whether he's retiring or not.

"Currently we're not having any negotiations, we're not talking to David Haye, or any other fighter."

"We are awaiting the outcome of the fight between Chris Arreola and Berman Stiverne on March 9."

"Vitali still has not decided whether he will fight any more or will be focused on politics" Boente said.

He knows Vitali would lose, so he won't let it happen.

Vitali vs. Cris was as exciting of a one sided fight as I can remember. A rematch will guaranteed by more entertaining than any fight featuring Wlad.

Haye does nothing but run his mouth and then run in the ring. No need to feed his ego and bank account.

i'd rather see haye vs vitali , even though haye will run....stiverne is crap, arreola could be different, who knows, but thats not exciting either, but at least 2 guys are fighting each other for that right, all haye does is issue challenges and insults

I don't want to even see another Areola fight ever.

But this is rather disapointing news, I really do want to see Haye vs Vitali.

An in-shape Arreola could make for a decent fight.

    - But it's clear that Vitali wants a fairly easy final bout. Whatever, I guess he's earned it. I'm just thrilled that Haye won't be getting an undeserved payday. (And that Haye has now been officially, publicly humiliated. Gotta' love it.)

"We are awaiting the outcome of the fight between Chris Arreola and Berman Stiverne on March 9." IS NOT 'If Vitali fights on, it'll be v the Arreola- Stiverne winner'

Vitali will fight pinky toe, if gaye agrees the terms.

Imagine that, fighting on against his mandatory. How unusal. In before we get all the usual "he should have fought Haye, Towers, Price, Sexton, Chisora, McDermott etc............."

If I were Vitali, I'd say "**** you David Haye" and offer him the lower part of a 65/35 split. Take it or leave it. Fight Arreola/Stiverne winner then retire. His legacy is set. Nobody in 5 years will ever question Vitali's legacy/resume/skills for not fighting a three hit wonder CW who won a few decent matchups at HW.
