Who are the authors and pubished boxing writers hanging around here? I get the feeling there are some distinguished names. Some of you know who they are. C'mon, spill!
Springs Toledo, Pollack, Klompton are among them. @AntonioMartin1 I know has done some boxing Wikipedia pages including (iirc) the history of boxing in Puerto Rico and one on the 1970s U.S. tournament scandal (televised by ABC until the corrupt rankings/kickbacks were exposed and the plug was pulled). Not sure of others.
Quite the accomplishment, Chris. I just read some reader reviews on Amazon. Almost unanimous raves. A total of 55 reviews to date; 97 percent are 5 stars. How long did you spend writing it? It's 600 pages, must've taken quite a while. How much time did you spend in Brazil? Would you like to share with us a little bit about the experience of researching and writing it?
I didn’t go to Brazil during the process. It took about two years to write. I had years of research already and years of interviews I’d done with Eder & his family. I’d created a close bond with them. The fact the writing was mostly during Covid definitely helped otherwise it would have taken longer.

Nothing concrete now. I’ve simply gotten too busy but I have one subject I’m close to and I’ll ask about the possibility and if it’s a yes, then I’ll adapt my schedule. Otherwise, nothing for the foreseeable future.
