I just wonder how is it possible that Adamek who was in HW for only about a year could sign a very satisfying contract even without being mandatory. He will probably earn five times more than Solis. What's more the fight will take place in Poland. So I just cannot believe that bull**** about K2 hard negotiations.
Haye was planning to fight Wlad and Vitali, both times he ducked. Now he ducked for the third time. I couldn't see anything like that from Klitschko brothers. That's my opinion: I just don't believe in any of Haye's words.

I think the fight will happen. Wlad probably didn't want it next because of his deal with RTL and he knows that outside of Haye/Adamek, there are no interesting fights for him. If he negotiates a new contract before the Haye or Adamek fights, he has plenty of bargaining power. If he wastes either fight, especially one he could lose, he risks everything.

I bet his new contract will be more money money and soon after, the Haye fight is signed.

I've been waiting for this fight for 2 years now, an ideally would want it sooner then later, That being said I could wait a little longer if the scenario could play out a little something like this. If Haye could find it in his soul to postpone retirement from Oct.-Dec. Wlad and Haye could have 2 fights each before ending the year in fashion somewhere in Dec. , in a Unification. Considering HBO is looking into picking up the Chisora fight because of the next fight with Adamek, It would be getting a full years worth coverage and promotion from that network and could ignite interest in the division , here in the states.

Seeing as Povetkin refuses to fight a Klitschko he or maybe to a lesser extent Dimitrenko would be a good second fight for Haye. Dimintrenko for obvious reasons, his size. While Wlad would have a good set up opponent in the fast Adamek

Agreed. It´s all about the money. First fight went bust because Setanta was in financial trouble and Haye was afraid that he wouldn´t be paid. This time (IMO) it´s Wlad thinking money first and cashing out the old tv -contract.

But to be fair, Wlad seemed willing to fight this spring and took on Chisora fight because Haye -fight was scheduled in 2.7.2011. Why? Mostly because of the money but I think that there is a genuine fear in Wlad´s mind that Haye will pull a no-show once again. Or maybe Wlad is just tossing David around for the hell of it. Haye´s been a twat with his tasteless t-shirts and trash-talks and must have gotten a bit under Wlad´s hide.

Anyways - please let this fight come to be in 2.7 (I´m sure that WBA will not able to order any mandatory defense for Haye until April and after Wlad crushes Chisora, they can sign the ****ing deal at last.)

This was posted around the same time or shortly after I think:

Wladimir Klitschko has reiterated his plans to fight David Haye in a unification showdown on July 2.

Haye had criticised the Ukrainian after he opted to put his IBF and WBO titles on the line against Dereck Chisora first.

That means Haye, the WBA champion, will now have to take on mandatory challenger Ruslan Chagaev before any potential fight with Klitschko can take place.

However Klitschko insists he remains focused on taking on Haye once he has dealt with Chisora.

Klitschko said: "I think after talking so much nonsense (Haye) has to show up in the ring. He has been trying to be smart but eventually he put himself in a corner.

"He's talking about legacy - I don't see the legacy with him, to be honest with you.

"I think that it's not only my opinion but the opinion of a lot of fans. I know the British fans are looking forward to this fight and I'm looking forward to satisfying as well the British fans and to fight David Haye.

"I'm right here and I'm confirming that July 2, as I've said before, that's the date for the fight. Either David Haye takes it or he just leaves the whole thing there.

    Confirmed

"We were agreed on the money, so that we split everything 50-50 and of course there is a lot of money to make, but money is not the issue right now.

"As I said, I can confirm the date - July 2 - and the answer from David Haye was 'I don't want you to fight before' and however. The date is confirmed. Germany or the UK? It doesn't matter."

Haye, though, insists that it is "impossible" for Klitschko to face him after fighting Chisora.

"Fight fans just want to see the best against the best - if only it was that simple," Haye said.

"Very rarely in boxing do you get a situation where you have all the pieces of the puzzle, all the politics have been smoothed over.

"Then all of sudden he announces he is fighting Chisora, knowing I have to then fight Chagaev.

"To then fight me after is impossible - it is a shame he has now shown his true colours.

"He is scared of getting knocked out and does not want to lose, fighting people on a good run.

"What is wrong with now? Nothing. It does not make sense, especially after all the public campaign to get me in the ring.

"This would be a once-in-a-lifetime fight. Once I retire, people will always ask him 'why did you not fight David Haye?' and he will have to live with that.

"If it does not happen now, it never will."

Haye has nothing, except lies and feathers. Haye is a "proven" liar/contract breaker! If Haye wanted to fight Klitschkos he could have already fought them. Tyson Fury is correct about Haye. Title unification takes precedence over mandatory, Haye can sign, but he won't.
