Sorry i saw your thread and don't agree with you He lost.. end of Its official anyway so just deal with it bud
Lmfao sad and deluded like a little boy who just realized his daddy isn't really the strongest man in the world
I feel like some people here don't quite understand how to score a fight. 7 pitter-patter shots which do no damage, do nothing to deter Teo from walking him down. Loma just outright didn't do enough through the first half. He did come on strong over the second, but when he normally shines at overwhelming his man late, he was beaten again in a slugging match. Teo won. Clearly. Buy Lomachenko will definitely win the rematch, based on a number of factors.
How exactly was it arrogant of Loma to want an immediate title shot in the pro ranks? Whats so bad about wanting to fight the very best? Not to mention the fact that he was a 2x Olympic Gold medalist, and 2x World champion(amateurs).
Not likely. He is older, will be older and Lopze looks that is starting to boxe. Lopez is young, for him even next 6 months might gave a lot of improvement.
With regards to the salido fight I have very little doubt in my mind that he lost that through foul play to knock him down a peg and give back some control to his promotor.
I have next to no doubt that Loma of the Russell fight would beat Salido. To me, outside of the weight difference, lowblows, foul play and style match up, that Lomachenko was just unsure of how to pace himself. After not doing as much early, he had bags and bags of stamina left at the end, which he used to unfurl in that twelth round. If I recall correctly, I thought it could've easily been a two point round. If he had paced himself properly (or even just knowing for sure he has no problems going that distance with a high workrate), like he did vs Russell and every other twelve rounder afterwards, then he'd have worked more and not have to hope on a big finish. Lopez is a different story, he actually deserved to lose that one, and there's next to no fouls from Lopez. An on-the-belt-line cross to the body in the 10/11th, and nothing else I can remember.
If Lomachenko had been knocked unconscious with a clean punch by Lopez you and others would still be on here claiming 'it's not really a loss because Loma was ahead on points before the KO' or 'Loma clearly wasn't at his best so it doesn't count'. Clearly unwilling to face the possibility that the deluded fantasy you'd built up in your head about Loma is wrong, the Salido loss and other underwhelming performances from 'the best boxer since Roy Jones' should have been a reality check but nope. The Lopez loss still hasn't woken some of you up, even a KO loss or 12 round brutal beatdown wouldn't be enough, I swear it's like trying to talk sense to Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons. Deluded.
It's arrogant cause it disrespected the ladder all the other professional fighters climbed to earn their shot whereas sLomo just used Bob's fat wallet to cut in line, and he used it again to cut in line with a 1-1 record a few months later. And all that really helped him in a professional fight vs. an over the hill, 12-loss, huge underdog now, did it? But lemme flip it the make his arrogance understood: how do you feel Loma would've felt if he had to climb the Olympic ladder all the way through the hard rounds exhausted till Gold match... only to face a prime, fresh professional boxing champion who never had to do rounds? Hardly fair, is it? And that's why success in one form of boxing doesn't earn you an instant shot in the other, or at least it shouldn't, and Salido did Sweet Science a great service teaching sLomo that lesson. In a thread looking for fairness, that's about as fair as it gets.
I just see it the complete opposite way. Do you give other pro´s as much grief for their title shots? Plenty of current guys who didn´t beat a single top 10 guy to get a title shot.
