Alvarez has fought as a middleweight his last 5 fights, is the lineal middleweight champ, and won and defended the WBC middleweight title. Until he goes down to 154 or less he's clearly a middleweight.
Is there still an argument about this? 155 to 160 is middleweight, end of story. If he chooses to fight at 155 instead of the 160 limit that is his business. Otherwise he needs to FO back to 154. I'd like to see him ruin his internal organs getting to 154 a few more times ... if he can.
