Mayweather smashed a full-force, full-leverage shot square onto Ortiz's face when Victor was not prepared at all, and probably still a bit stunned from the shot he'd taken a split-second before. I highly doubt that a guy with a good chin, like say Jake LaMotta, or Marvin Hagler would have hit the deck from that shot. Ortiz's chin has been shown to be shaky before. If he had solid whiskers, these shots would NOT have ended the fight. He would have taken them and continued.

I repeat again, Ortiz's chin has been shown to be shaky before. So now we have Mayweather, hardly known as KO puncher, knocking him out. I'd say that is pretty damn clear evidence that Ortiz's chin is weak, to say the least. Guys with solid chins can take Mayweather's punches. You don't even need to be Jake LaMotta.
Well IMO, 1. Mayweather has never been counted as a hard puncher, or a KO puncher for that matter. 2. Maybe he may have gone down, but I think you can still get up if you have a better chin. 3. Look at the way he fell... It is way different from one who gets KTFO cold when he is not expect a punch coming.. he fell rolling, as compared to others that would simply fall like a log.. With all due credit, Ortiz may not be a glass chin but, he can't take a punch. Like a Zab Judah or someone like that

Then Floyd followed up with a hard right hand on the button as Ortiz was looking away, that shot would have dropped and finished anybody as the shot you dont see hurts you especially when there are two of them...
