You can buy it or not, his results speak for themselves.

As in Vitali flooding his opponents with dozens of arm punches in succession before the ref stops it ? Bowe had unbelievable heart anyway, Vitali would realistically just outbox him

You can say that because you are not taking the punches.

And when a boxer can do that with arm punches...that shows his power. It's a guy like Wilder that has to get the full extension to generate power that doesn't really have as much as your think.

Yeah and not getting a knockdown against Briggs despite it being a hellacious beatdown is a great demonstration of his punching power. He would totally stop a guy like Bowe who was extremely stubborn and more live than any of Vitalis opponents bar a old sluggish Lewis.... yeah nah. Vitali just outboxes Bowe on points and doesn't get a single knockdown that's how it goes

Jesus, the man has a 91% KO ratio, and you are citing a fight towards the end of his career where he beat his opponent near to death.

    Good luck to you.

Riddick Bowe in his prime and in shape was better than Fury and Vitali.

Vitali, Bowe, Fury. In that order on achievement and likely head to head.

H2H - Vitali, Bowe then Fury.

Vitali gas the best chin of the 3, a work rate Fury couldn't live with, better on the outside than Bowe and the best defence of the three. So I think Vitali is the best of the three.

Bowe I have 2nd based on the first Holyfield fight, that Bowe would be too much for Fury who could out box Bowe from range but is too easy to get too at times and tended to switch off it fights. Plus the work rate would be too much for Fury.

Legacy - Bowe, Fury then Vitali

Bowe's wins over Holyfield for me edges it for me. Fury in contrast lost to his Holyfield in Usyk, twice. Vitali clearly 3rd his resumes lacks that signature win and I think Fury's resume has more depth.

    Fury, Vitali, Bowe

and it doesn’t seem that tricky to me.

Neither Fury nor Vitali have much depth in their resume, but Fury edges it.

Vitali is number 1 in everyway.

Vitali vs Hide and Bowe vs Hide shows you the difference in levels.

Vitali stopped Purrity who stopped Wladimir before Fury fought him
Vitali stopped Sanders who stopped Wladimir before Fury fought him. That win also started the new champion of the division

I think overall even if not a singular win, Vitali possibly has a greater resume than Bowe and Fury overall

What wins of Fury's do you rate that give you an overall view?

    Vitali beat

    - WBO HW champion H Hide
    - WBC HW champion S Peters
    - Former WBO HW champion C Sanders (didn't lose WBO title in the ring)
    - Former WBO HW champion S Briggs
    - Future WBA regular HW champion M Charr
    - Former WBC CW champion Gomez
    - Former WBC LHW and Former Ring and IBF CW champion T Adamek
    - C Arreola
    - K Johnson
    - T Hoffman
    - A Sosnowski
    - D Chisora
    - D Williams
    - Former WBA CW champion O Norris

Overall I think it could be very debatable

    1. Vitali
    2. Fury
    3. Bowe
For the three, the higher the mental toughness the better.

Vitali would beat both Bowe and Fury. Maybe Bowe could get a cut stoppage but that would be his only chance. Vitali had too good of a Chin and Ring IQ to lose to either. Caveat is I don’t think we ever saw a 100% focused Bowe. Futch said the most he got out if him was 75% of his potential. Bowe was too undisciplined.

Overall I'm going Fury Bowe Vitali

Bowe has the best individual win with 92 Holyfield but overall Furys resume and career is the best

Vitali has zero significant wins and his reputation is built up off of getting stopped by an old out of shape Lennox
