Bowe On Lewis.

What a load of crap. He destroyed Ruddock who most thought was going to beat Lewis, that alone would either have but fear into Bowe or given him a huge payday opportunity. Obviously it turned out to be the former.

 

No proof, try reading Bowe's Wikipedia write up, it states it even on his bio. What more proof could you want!!

Damn, Holyfield was on the ropes literally drooling, he was totally out of his feets, the brutality of Bowe was really impressing.

While Lemmux...... Emmanuel Steward sayd he thought Holyfield won their second encounter.

Lemmux may have been a promising amateur, but at pros, without headgear and pillow gloves, he was beatable by cruiserweights.

Bowe would have trashed him, the fight wouldn't have lasted more than 3 rounds.

 

Ya I take a lot of stock when a poster name calls one of the two fighters he's speaking about. No bias there. As for the second Lewis fight, I've debated this on a round by round basis for years, and I have yet to find one poster who can justify a Holyfield win, Not one. Course if you want to try, be my guest. And if properly scored the first fight would have been 9-3 in Lewis' favor, you can't just pretend that never took place.

 

Adding to this Bowe only got a title shot in the first place by agreeing to this 4 man tournament. He would not have gotten a shot at Holyfield then had he not done so.

Ruddock was meant to fight Hoyfield but HBO wanted to create this mini tournament and allowed Bowe to fight Hoyfield ahead of Ruddock with the understanding if he won he'd fight Ruddock once Ruddock beat Lewis, which of course ended up with Lewis shocking the world and destroying the then much feared Ruddock.

 

Yup, the question I have is how bloody hard is that to understand? Anyone who was watching the sport back then, knew this, hell it's even in Bowe's Wikipedia bio. There's absolutely nothing to dispute about this cause it is what it is. Yet a few posters who for whatever reason don't like Lewis think they are entitled to change the facts to promote their agenda.

I don't know who would have won had they fought, I'd personally have favored Lewis, but the road to them actually fighting was all mapped out.

 

Bowe fans are worse than *****s with their forced ignorance of the facts..hang on a minute, they're probably the same people.

 

Anybody can write on a wiki page. Its just urban legend now. The links and articles i posted point to what really happened.

 

Ruddock never got a decent win again after Tyson ruined him. Lewis fought the after product of a broken and hospitalized Ruddock.

the Americans are the ones who get found to be cheating an awful lot. it wouldn't be fair in any way to think fighters from other countries are doing the same just to make you feel better. especially considering the high testing standards they use in Germany and the UK.

OK, there are some Mexicans on the fiddle, but other countries don't have a constant stream of fighters that test positive.

 

That's speculation. After Tyson Ruddock fought and stopped both Page and Jackson, but of course that doesn't fit into your agenda.

Why don't you simply accept the result of the fight?? Why try putting a spin on it??

Everyone who posts on this subject has to also post their date of birth , as it seems that a lot of people forgot that Lennox chased Riddick for the fight and it was Riddick who threw the belt in the bin.

Bowe was a mental midget who never beat anybody his own size. Look at the Golota fights.
