Its hindsight bias that you think hes getting brain damage everytime he gets hit. But No he didnt have a good chin. He had a reputation of a bad chin in the amateurs and it proved to be true in the pros. he failed 3/4 "chin checks" against the only two good punchers he faced which was bulked up holyfield and golota, neither of which hit like tyson. I think bert cooper hurt him as well. Tysons weaknesses post prison pre botha were decreased stamina, mental weakness(looking worried and discouraged everytime he hit holyfield and holyfield didnt fall down) and eroded defense, his speed was still mostly there, he could still force his way in punching range and unleash hell on his opponents and bowe didnt have anything close to the defense or the chin holyfield showed in the two tyson bouts. Tyson would still have 3-5 good rounds vs bowe and im not sure he survives it, especially since tyson would take bowe seriously and may show up in the kind of shape he was for the holyfield rematch just not gunshy because he hadnt gotten destroyed by holyfield yet
Bowe would have been beaten before the first bell, he would have been intimidated worse than Bruno was. Bowe had all the physical and technical tools needed to beat Tyson except the mental strength. Tyson KO 6
Bowe's chin may have been iffy but he had heart. If he didn't he would have lost Golota 1 and probably would have been better off for it.
It's unlikely this fight goes to a decision, either Bowe survives a horrible beating and takes a fatigued Tyson out late or Tyson blitz past Bowe's non-existent defense for an early stoppage. I think the latter happens.
