Boxed a champ, but mom was stronger than I

    I was strong and boxed a champion and all contenders, but my mom would toss me around like a baby! Who am I ?

    I was a big boy, so that tells you how strong Ma was !
    I fought in the 1920-1930 era....I better stop the clues because mom is heading for me,HELP.........

    Everything points to Young Stribling... but since he fought many champions, it can't be him???

    I just saw your other question from earlier today, where the correct answer was Stribling - so you are obviously looking for someone else.

    hhascup strikes again... Yes Teddy Sandwina,a German-American heavyweight,who fought Primo Carnera, Ernie Schaaf, Tony Galento etc.
    Sandwina won 46 bouts, koing 38...His mother Kate Sandwina, was the STRONGEST woman in the world..Kate Sandwina hoisted 300 pounds over her head, a great amount for anyone in the 1920s..She once bested the famous Eugene Sandow, in a lifting contest...Folks, beware of Mama..B.B.
