Vargas got his ass handed to him at Rookies Sports bar in Ventura. Probably 2 years ago now, but he was mouthing off to one of the bouncers, Vargas jumped first and was dropped on his ass hard. He got up but was restrained by his homies. Lucky for him, he would have had his ass beat.

He also has the incident in Santa Barbara where he attacked a guy with a bat. I don't remember the outcome, but I believe Vargas was charged.

Yeah, that was a dude named Sam Powell - I forgot about that one. :good

Actually I'm kinda interested in some of these smaller dudes like Judah and Gomez. I always wondered what the effect of them fighting a somewhat bigger guy (with no pro fighting skills) would be.

I mean anyone that decides to pick a fight with Shannon Briggs :bbb is asking to get :toney :ko :kayo bad. So it's not as interesting.

Geez BC, What a story! I remember Norris wanting to fight Chavez VERY badly...While Chavez and Don King didn't want any part of it (it seemed). What did Chavez do after getting hit in the face? Did he want some of Norris? Sometimes after instances like this, another fighter gains an edge on the other...Like when Holmes elbowed Ali in the chest at a presser. Dundee said Holmes gained an psychological edge...(But Larry had that one regardless)

Ya those were 2 stories that definitely come to mind... I also know a couple cats that went to school with him and he was not as gangster as people like to think (grew up near the hood, not in it, etc.)..

One dude said he didn't hang out in Colonia he got chased the **** out by them...

Who knows what to believe when it comes to this **** though.

Mike Tyson, Jake LaMotta, and Rocky Graziano had strong street reps.
Michael Dokes was known to have gotten in several confrontations.
Mitch Green and Iran Barkely got into many when they were in the Black Spades back in the day.

I've always been intrigued by the idea of a WW being able to KO a much larger man in a street-fight :ko.

I remember a little guy in college who was an AM (I saw him during sparring sessions but didn't actually know him).

He got into a fight with this

motha while we were waiting in a queue. I think maybe he accidently pushed-in at the front and this massive dude was like :fy. Anyways, needless to say there was a lot of :cus, they both started to get :fire and there were all the usual wiseguys stirring the pot :stir ("oh man did you hear what he called you?").

So one thing leads to another and the little guy tells Mr Big to :****off and he dually obliges by taking 3 massive swings (totally telegraphed) :toney and getting ducked (1st swing) and slipped (next 2).

    Thing of beauty. Cause the little dude throws a quick combo;

to the temple -- unusual choice I'll grant you, but very effective :boxing1 .

Big dude was out like a light :dead .

My buddies and I were like :pop for the whole build-up. No way in hell we were gonna do anything about it.

I remember after they called the campus security and stuff the little dude had this grin on his face :D and walking away resembled :boogie.

I was like, can't wait to sign this kid up :deal . Hell I probably could be a manager. What's the next cruise out to the Caribbean :spliff?
