I was thinking the same. But I'll tell you what...I'd give anything to have long arms like Kelly does to generate termendous leverage vs being some over-muscled body like a Holyfield, etc. Look at those forearms!:!: This content is protected
Last time when i remember you talking about "forearms" it was when Adamek was exposed to have wet toilet paper mache chin at hw against Vitali.
Boxers by and large just don't have stereotypical attractive physiques. A trainer once told me that I'd have to decide between a beach body and a boxer's body. Being that I'm getting way too old to be boxing, I went with the beach body. Loose, flowing muscle is more suitable for boxing than stiff, thick muscle. There are exceptions, of course, but the greatest fighters often look like they never worked out a day in their life.
A lot of the older school fighters had very unimpressive bodies. Of current guys, excluding heavyweights, I'd say Ruiz, Rios, Pavlik and Calderon were pretty average looking.
:nono Great fighters or 95% of them look very good and are very fit. Its true they should not be to thick but, to say that they looked like they never trained is an overstatement.
