Anybody know how much a Lonsdale belt goes for at auction? I daresay sadly that there are a few of them about with the financial difficulties fighters get themselves into

wasn't it alan minter who said he dosent have his lonsdale belt on show coz its worth alot of money and worried burglers might tea-leaf it. he keeps it locked away.

Randy Turpin's Lonsdale belt went for £23k. Obviously the price would vary depending on the fighter, the age of the belt and those at auction bidding on it. With this being Turpin's belt, then I wouldn't expect many more belts being £25k+

How many fighters have owned a belt outright i wonder

ie how many are out there :think

I guess one of Henry Coopers would probably be most expensive
