I'm surprised everyone's on Hatton for this. I see all sorts of issues for Ricky in this fight. PM uses his long arms well and fights at length effectively. He'll try to keep Hatton on the outside where he can pick him off with quick one-twos. Hatton's usual gameplan would probably work quite well by stopping PM's flow and breaking the rhythm of the fight up but I get this impression that Hatton's going to try and box this guy, moving away from what's made him successful. I'm not sure this is a good fight for Hatton at this time to implement the new ideas of Mayweather. Ricky seems a bit unsure/uneasy to me in the last few weeks in his interviews etc. I hope I'm wrong, but I see Malingnagi causing all sorts of problems with his speed and style and think that Hatton may fall behind early on. Will Hatton then revert to type? I'm really interested in this fight because we don't really know what kind of Hatton is going to turn up. He looks in good shape and the snippets of training I've seen are impressive but you get the impression it's a mental game for Hatton as well now. 50/50 fight in my eyes.
Those odds seem slightly weighted towards Hatton. Paulie is the value bet, but I'll be betting Hatton in an accumalator.
and brings in a chump for macca. or is he in serious need of ppv buys,so has to bring in a dangerous oppo...:think this is interesting to me now....
Whoever is Maccarinelli's opponent is hardly going to have more than a single figure effect on PPV buys, surely?
If Herbie Hide steps then it will persuade some people to buy the PPV who wouldn't have otherwise I'm sure of it.
not neccersarily, if you were very intruiged by the oppo, say he bought in darnell wilson, herbie or similar ,basically a banger, would it not sway a lot of people??? it probably would me
ok i thought i would start .i have put some bets on Edward's rounds 2-12 just £1/2 on rounds. nothing major but odds are 33/1 and 40/1 so could stand to make a small fortine.never been a big gambler...
It would be good if we could have our own Vcash league to go with the predictions..... trouble is not every fight has odds - perhaps we could agree something between a member's committee?
