Yeah I'm a lot more cautious these days. In Uni I didn't give a **** because

    a) it was my money - or the banks
    b) I was drunk most of the times

Commitments change things. I still gamble our holiday fund if something too good to miss comes up. Usually one a year. I had a few stains in my pants during Casa-Katsidis, but that was seriously good odds against a stylistic certainty. It was only age that didn't make it go so smooth as my heart wanted :yep

I've got Mikkel's entire career on disk, I know his weaknesses. My Danish brothers were very confident, but deep down I feared for his chances in that fight.

Calzaghe was only a 60/40 favourite.

The most I have ever bet on anything was a double of England to beat Italy in the 6 nations and Leeds to beat Celtic Crusaders..... a £100 double, netted me £50 profit.

I wouldn't be that confident picking fights however.....

Sticking £100 on Pavlik and Cotto would only net you £18 profit!

£18 profit is certainly not worth the risk... who knows how both come back from their recent defeats.

I think my £20 will go on Rhodes..... hopefully I can tie it in with Cleverly and Munroe..... should pay for the fight tickets in Barnsley!

I quite like the look of Diaz against JMM.

I'm sure I remember watching Diaz beat Katsidis pretty convincingly (there was little doubt, through the fight, who was winning), but looking at the scores, just, they were pretty close and it was an SD. Perhaps I was boozed at the time - it clouded my judgement somewhat - or maybe the judges made it closer than it was?

Anyway, as an outside bet, I may have a go on Jaun.

I may be tempted to have a few bob on JMM.

On the subject,Hatton 7/4 vs Pac.Money in the bank. They'll be running for cover!!

    Are you having a punt??

I was very much going to have a punt on Diaz at the wider odds, but for the past few weeks I've been moving toward the JMM camp.

I just got 1.62..5/8.. on betfair for Marquez so whacked £30 on it. Think he should do it, but not massively confident..should be a good fight.
