I remember Vladimir Klitschko complaining that he was drugged when he fought Lamon Brewster.

 

Ali arranged his fights with Spinks to give himself the first triple Heavyweight crown.

 

Some tinfoil hatters believe the mob controlled boxing and fixed a bunch of fights years ago.

 

Their was one allegedly circulating around famous trainers in the 70s, that Ali didn't get Parkinson's from boxing, but from some new performance drug that raised his dopamine levels.

I mean, we have testimony of boxers on record stating that they had to take dives in order to get title shots, no? I think it's a bit too proven to be a conspiracy theory honestly.

I don't think I follow. Weren't there federal investigations on the involvement of the mob in boxing where boxers testified to having taken dives? If that's what they want you to believe then was boxing a fully clean sport where the boxers who took the stand were just excusing their losses? Carnera, Ike Williams, LaMotta, Liston, Gans and McGovern, were all explicated with the mob in some way, even SRR said he declined to dive. Hell, Daniel Kinahan has been funding fights as recently as last year.
