amazingly enough, old Floyd actually held a #5 ring mag rating at the year end ratings for 1977. The only thing I can put together on any sense in that rating is an 8-round win over the veteran Miguel Barrett, who had beaten the top 10 rated Fausto Rodriguez. But that win was 6 months earlier. So that #5 rating for Floyd was a stretch and very odd.

But the OP said “more than 2”.

That was a product of the Ring Ratings scandal of 1977.

Perhaps. But I don't recall that scandal bleeding into the world rankings. The scandal was zeroed in on the ABC U.S. championships and the U.S. ratings. It's not to say it couldn't happen, but I don't know if Mayweather senior had any Don King-like backing that might be trying to hoist his ranking. But it certainly was an eyebrow raising ranking that made no sense.

If Hughie Fury is elite, then I nominate Marty and Eric Jakubowski as another family dynasty.

The Kameda family. The father fought for the world title and his three sons became world champions.

This is a bit of a stretch, but the Toweel family of South Africa. Vic was world champion, Willie challenged for the bantamweight title and amazingly was a top lightweight contender as well. And Alan, who did box as a pro, but made his name as a big time South African promoter. Like I said, a slight stretch on the actual rules.

Hughie Fury is good but he probably can't be classed as elite.

Sort of a side note, but how many brother/sister boxer families do we have? Daniel Dubois's sister, Caroline, is currently a unified world champ.
