Better than nothing, which much of the time is what we have to settle for.

If the Kessler KO of Green wasn't on ESPN, Boxing is dead, They had the Berto drug test scandal on sportcenter.

Yeah, they only highlight the negative. :-(

For instance, the Mayweather vs. Ortiz "sucker punch" was shown over and over again for weeks and treated as a controversy.

I thought for sure that they'd give a little love for the Mayweather-Cotto fight with it being exciting and all, considering, as you said IB, they showed the sucker punch over and over again. But, alas, no. No highlights, no coverage just a "Oh, yeah, Mayweather won by Unanim...ous...decision. Moving on to Lacrosse now...."

tyson was big during his time because of his KOs. the less we see that sort, the less mainstream media bothering. but the elitist fans of boxing who instead of welcoming new fans would rather ridicule them for any misinformation they say rather than explaining the ins and out of the sport are what drives would be follower out of the sport. majority in here are guilty of this trait.

Two boxing interest stories in the current SI. One a several page spread with full color photos :)shock:) and the other, respectably, a tribute to Johnny Tapia.

Short and sweet obit, but nice that they gave him a half page pic.

Sorry for asking, what's with the (e) thing?

Anyways, it's also good that the networks are doing their part.

They are plugging more schdules of fights now, unfortunately, same as MMA.

Orange County Register covers big fights and local guys. I was pleasantly surprised when I moved here.
